Office Interior Design Cost in Noida & Delhi NCR: A 2026 Planning Guide

3 min readNoida & Delhi NCR

If you are moving into a new office in Noida, Delhi or Gurugram, the first question is almost always the same: how much will the interiors cost? The honest answer depends on your space, your team and the finish you want. This guide explains how office interior budgets are built in Delhi NCR, so you can plan with confidence before you speak to a designer.

Indicative cost ranges per sq ft (2026)

The ranges below are indicative for a complete commercial fit-out in Delhi NCR — civil work, ceilings, flooring, electrical, HVAC modifications, furniture and finishes. Your actual estimate will depend on the site and the specification you choose.

Fit-out levelWhat you typically getIndicative cost (₹ per sq ft)
EssentialClean, functional workspace; standard modular workstations; grid or gypsum ceiling; vinyl or carpet-tile flooring₹1,400 – ₹2,000
BusinessBrand-led design; a mix of open and closed spaces; acoustic treatment; better lighting and finishes₹2,000 – ₹3,000
PremiumCustom joinery; designer lighting; feature walls; high-end furniture; smart meeting rooms₹3,000 – ₹4,500+
Note: these ranges are for early planning only. A site visit and a 3D concept are the only reliable way to arrive at a number for your floor plate.

What drives the cost of an office interior?

1. Condition of the space

A warm-shell office with ceilings, flooring and air-conditioning already in place costs far less to fit out than a bare-shell floor in a new tower on the Noida Expressway or in Gurugram’s business districts. Always ask your landlord exactly what is included in the handover.

2. Ratio of open to closed areas

Every cabin, meeting room and phone booth adds partitions, doors, lighting, air-conditioning ducting and acoustic treatment. An open-plan layout with a few well-placed meeting rooms is usually the most cost-efficient choice.

3. Furniture specification

Furniture is often a quarter to a third of the total budget. Modular workstations made by a local manufacturer are far more economical than imported systems, while custom joinery adds character where it matters most — the reception and leadership cabins.

4. MEP work

Mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) changes — HVAC re-routing, power and data points, sprinkler and fire-alarm modifications — are easy to underestimate. Plan them together with the layout, not after it.

5. Timeline

Compressed timelines mean night shifts, express procurement and higher labour costs. Giving the project 8–12 weeks for a mid-size office usually keeps costs under control.

How to keep your budget on track

  • Fix the brief early: headcount, growth plans, number of cabins and meeting rooms.
  • Approve the design in 3D before execution, so changes happen on screen rather than on site.
  • Ask for an itemised BOQ (bill of quantities) instead of a lump-sum quote.
  • Work with one accountable team for design, manufacturing and execution, so nothing falls between vendors.
  • Keep a 5–8% contingency for site surprises.
